File recovery
If the storage still powers, enumerates, or can be imaged, we try to copy the files. That is the job.
In scope
- Hard drives and SSDs that still talk to a computer
- Hard drives that will not enumerate because the controller board is dead — that is an HDD PCB swap
- USB sticks and SD cards that mount or can be read with adapters
- Deleted files, failed Windows, “disk needs to be formatted”
- A PC that will not boot, if the point is to get the data off
Out of scope
- Clicking drives and unreadable platters — we do not open the sealed assembly. No cleanroom.
- RAID arrays and helium-drive labs
- Phones — we do not recover phones or bypass passcodes
- Guaranteed recovery. If we cannot get the files, you do not pay recovery labor. You still paid the $49.99 look.
